A long-hold investment firm

Businesses worth preserving.

Omega Preservation Equity exists to acquire and hold established American companies and farms — preserving the people, the trade, and the legacies worthy of continuing.

Our basis isn’t the next unicorn investment. We strive to create excellent, stable returns for our investors, to maintain and build jobs, to revive and preserve skills that are being lost, and to value the resources that have always been America’s pride and backbone.

We know the sacrifice, the long hours, the years of hard work, and the resolute grit it takes to build a legacy. We are working to preserve and revive what is being lost. This isn’t a slogan to us. We believe it is critical — and that if no one tries, the loss will be devastating for all of us.

We are feeling the crisis. A succession crisis is reaching across America’s ranches, farms, and family businesses — and every one that closes takes something with it we can’t get back.

The idea

Preservation equity.

Ownership for people who care about what they own.

We use the tools of institutional finance — the same leverage, the same structures that have hollowed out many American businesses and farms — to do the opposite: to preserve the ones that should outlast all of us. Not because the tools are good or evil, but because we decided there had to be a better way — to serve businesses, instead of feeding on them. Our mission is to build the American business and farm — to change the world for the next generation.

Preservation equity starts from a different conviction: that some of the most valuable businesses in the country are the ones that provide steady, unglamorous, and absolutely necessary services. When we invest under a preservation equity mandate, three principles guide the work.

01

Succession, not liquidation

A trusted partner for founders who want their life’s work protected, modernized, and respected — not dismantled.

02

Durable compounding

Without the friction of constant buying and selling, more of what a business earns can stay in the business and keep working.

03

Resilience at home

Local supply chains, processing plants, and working land, kept in working hands — the businesses communities rely on in every economy.

Investing you can see

Preservation equity is for people who want more than a line on a statement — who want to taste the beef from the ranch, smell the bread in the bakery, walk the floor of the shop, and see with their own eyes where their money goes and what it supports. It is a place for purposeful investment: capital that keeps the farm down the road, the crew that repairs the bridge, and the shop that knows your name — the things that make America a place we want to live.

Preserving what might otherwise be lost.

Read our vision

Not the next app. The backbone.

We aren’t chasing artificial intelligence or the next technology platform. We invest in the backbone of the country — our food, our resources, our infrastructure, and our people.

We know the grit, the sacrifice, and the hard work it takes to build these businesses, because we come from them. The farm that feeds a county, the contractor who keeps its roads open, the shop on Main Street that has known three generations of the same customers — these are not relics. They are how much of America still works.

We build on established legacies.

The four strategies

One discipline, four strategies.

The businesses that quietly power everyday life. Each strategy is built around an anchor — an established business at its center — and grows outward from it with the same discipline and the same patience.

Solving for the obstacles

Where others see reasons to walk away, we look for the structure that works.

Agriculture is a hard business. Margins are thin, prices swing with markets no farmer controls, and a ranch can be worth millions and still struggle to pay its own way. That is usually where the conversation ends.

We start there instead — pairing land with processing, supply with demand, and day-to-day operations with disciplined hedging, then testing the whole design against the bad years as well as the good. We strive to insulate these businesses from the market forces that would otherwise close the doors and cost the jobs.

How it works

From one anchor to a lasting platform.

01

Pursue the platform anchors

Each strategy is built around an anchor — an established, profitable business at its center. Securing these anchors is the work we are focused on now.

02

Build around the anchor

Then we add what makes the anchor stronger: owned and allied supply, complementary businesses, shared services, and the people to run them.

03

Own with patience

We hold for the long term, keep leadership continuity, and invest in the crews, equipment, and training that let a business take on more work, not less.

04

Return capital, keep the business

We underwrite for the long horizon. Our investors have a defined path to liquidity — through distributions, recapitalization, refinance, or new capital — with no mandate of a sale. Investors are paid first; the firm earns last.

05

Give forward

What the firm earns, after our investors are paid, helps fund Christ-centered, transformational education for families across the country.

Our purpose

Omega exists for a purpose beyond returns. We preserve what endures in a business — its people, its trade, its name. What the firm earns, after our investors are paid, helps fund Christ-centered, transformational education for families across the country.
